With over 20 years of experience in the design and building industry, I began my journey working in councils as a designer and drafter. My career took me to remote locations, including a year spent working in the project design office at Mt Isa Mines. I then furthered my training through the HIA, earning a Certificate III in Building Supervision in 2001, which eventually led me to establish my own building company in 2003.
During this time, I was responsible for designing homes on my own land, which often required custom solutions, particularly for sloping sites that demanded specific split-level designs. Over the years, I’ve designed and built a variety of homes, from custom-designed houses on private allotments to large townhouse projects for investment groups.
